Rev. Steve Trail comes
to Dothan from 1st Free Will Baptist Church of Walnut Ridge,
Arkansas where he served 14 years as Senior Pastor at First Free
Will Baptist Church. Bro. Steve has pastored four other churches
over the last thirty-four years in Arkansas and Louisiana. His
previous pastorates include the New Home FWB Church in Mt.
Pleasant, AR, the 1st FWB Church in Jacksonville, AR, and the
Rose Hill FWB Church at Monticello, AR. He served under the
National Home Missions Board for 8 years and was for 10 years
the pastor and founder of the Victory Free Will Baptist Church
in Alexandria/Pineville Louisiana. He is a 1995 graduate of
Bethany Bible College with a degree in Theology. He graduated
with his second degree in theology from Bethany Divinity College
and Seminary in May of 2008. Bro. Steve has served on the
General Board of the NAFWB, numerous district and state boards
and has been moderator of two local associations. He has
preached in several hundred FWB Churches as a missionary,
evangelist and conference speaker.
He and Sis. Judy have been blessed with a son, Michael and daughter-in-law Lynnette, of Rector, Arkansas and a daughter, Christi and son-in-law Toby, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Bro. Steve and Sis. Judy have five wonderful grandsons: Chase, Tabor, Chandler, Maddox and Cooper.
He enjoys collecting Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper memorabilia, taking cruises with Judy, and hunting in Colorado.
