How To Be Saved
Admit that you are a sinner. Everyone has sinned and is separated from God. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23
Realize that the punishment for sin is death. Sin causes spiritual death and eternal separation from God. God offers forgiveness of your sin and eternal life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sin. God sent His Son, Jesus, to die to pay the price for your sin. He offers you forgiveness of your sin and eternal spiritual life with God. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Confess your sinfulness to God, and turn from it. God will save anyone who puts in faith trust in Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection for you salvation. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13
Sample Prayer:
'Lord, I'm a sinner and need to be saved. I know that there is
nothing I can do on my own to get to Heaven. I believe that your
son Jesus died for my sins and rose again so that I might be
saved. I'm sorry for my sin. Please forgive me of all my sins
and come into my life and be my Lord. Thank you Jesus for coming
into my life and saving me. Amen.”
