MINISTRIES
Our church is
a place for worship, discipleship, learning, fellowship, and
service.
- Children's Ministry - Sunday
School, Children's/Youth Church on Sunday Mornings, Sunday Night
and Wednesday Night Services for Children. Nursery services are available at all
services for infants and preschoolers.
- 4 HIM Club (Wednesday Nights,
children K5 - 5th grades). 4 HIM is our high energy Wednesday
Night program for children. 4 HIM's goal is to emphasize the 4 M's:
Missions, Ministry, Memorization and Music. 4 HIM begins at the
normal church time, 6:30 p.m., each Wednesday, with a music and
worship time. We also receive an offering, "Buck a Week," which will
go to fund missions worldwide. From there, children ages 3 years to
5th grade will divide up into groups and rotate between Missions,
Ministry and Memorization before all returning to the closing prayer
and dismissal. A
Medical Release Form
is required to be on file with the Church Office if your child is
going to participate in any of the children's activities or field
trips outside regular Sunday and Wednesday services. Please
download, complete and return to the Church Office.
- Youth Ministry - Sunday
School, Youth Church on Sunday Mornings and Sunday Night
Services for Youth.
- FISHN - our Youth Ministry
exists to provide students/youth with an opportunity to
FELLOWSHIP with other Christians, INVOLVE
themselves in God's Work, tell others how God can SAVE
them through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to
HONOR God with their lives, and to NAVIGATE
the Christian life.
- Adults (of all ages) -
Sunday School, Worship Services and Bible Study.
- Golden Agers Ministry
(adults over 50 years of age). "The Golden Agers" meet
once per month, encompassing a wide range of programs from
inspirational speakers, comedy routines, musical groups, day
trips to various places of enjoyment and recreation, games,
potlucks, etc. There are no dues or fees to become a
member of this group. For more information, contact
Golden Agers Director, Paul Moore.
- Women Active for Christ (WAC).
The ladies of FFWB Dothan are active in the ministries of the church
and meet regularly for Bible study, fellowship, prayer and service
projects. All ladies are encouraged to come and join them for a
Women Active for Christ meeting.
- Master's Men. "God give us
men. Times like these demand strong minds, great hearts, true faith
and ready hands." Written many years ago, these words have been the
heart-cry of Free Will Baptist leaders and pastors. The denomination
does need men—men for the Master’s work—but greater than that is the
need to enlist the men who are already Free Will Baptists.
FFWB Dothan's Master's Men meet monthly. For more information,
contact the Church Office.
