Our church is a place for worship, discipleship,

learning, fellowship, and service.

Friendliness

You can expect a warm, friendly greeting at the door. We believe that our church is a church for someone like you, and we do our best to treat you that way. It's our desire for you to feel wanted and welcome while you're here.

Worship Atmosphere

Our worship services are informal, yet reverent. We want to feel God's presence in our worship services. We are neither liturgical or extremely emotional. We sing a true blend of traditional hymns, new worship songs, and choruses as tools for worship. We value all kinds of instruments in our worship services, and believe they enhance the worship experience.

Prayer and Giving

Both public and private prayers are offered to God in every service. The church is led in prayer by someone praying aloud while the congregation prays silently. Everyone has an opportunity to give to God by passing an offering plate. Our church is entirely supported by these free will gifts. We do not pressure anyone to give.

Preaching and Teaching

We believe that preaching God's Word is the most important part of our church. You can expect to hear a biblically sound message when you're here. You will be given an opportunity to respond to God's message at the end of the service. You can also expect Bible-centered teaching presented in our classrooms presented in a way that you can understand.

We are committed to:

  • God's Word
  • Applying solid Biblical principles in every area of our lives
  • Promoting God's Love for everyone
  • Strengthening families
  • Helping people
  • World-wide outreach
  • Reaching and making disciples of all ages and people in our area.

Our Beliefs:

  • God- We believe that God is the Creator, Sustainer, and Righteous Ruler of the universe. He has revealed Himself in nature, and in the Scriptures of the Holy Bible as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; yet as one God.
  • Jesus Christ- He is God’s Son revealed in flesh. In his Divine nature He is truly God and in His human nature truly man. He is the One crucified for man’s sin, the now risen and glorified Savior and Lord who mediates between God and man and who gives us access to the Father through His intercession. None can come to the Father unless they come through Him.
  • Holy Spirit- All of the attributes of God are ascribed to the Holy Spirit by the Scriptures. He convicts and convinces men of sin. He also convinces man of what is right, and that a final day of judgment will come. He comes to live in us at conversion, to open our understanding to the Scripture, and to lead us into the truth.
  • The Bible- God used holy men to write the Scriptures. They are, in both the Old and New Testaments, the very words God intended us to have. They are without error and are our only rule of faith and practice. We profit from them by learning the truth about many things; they speak to us about wrongdoing; they correct us and get us back on course and instruct us in right living.
  • Man- God created man in a state of innocence. Man, being tempted by Satan, yielded and willfully disobeyed God, becoming a sinner and incurring God’s judgment upon sin. When one comes to an age of accountability, he is guilty of sinning before God and in need of salvation.
  • God’s Relationship to His Creatures and Creation- God exercises a wise and benevolent providence over all beings and things. He maintains the law of nature and performs special acts as the highest welfare of mankind and His Created order.
  • Salvation- Man receives pardon and forgiveness for his sins when he admits to God that he is a sinner, and in godly sorrow, turns from them and trusts in the work of Christ as redemption for sin. This acceptance of God’s great salvation involves belief in Christ’s death on the cross as man’s substitute of God’s raising Him from the dead. It is a salvation by grace alone and not of works.
  • Who can be saved?- It is God’s will that all be saved, but since man has the power of choice, God saves only those who repent of their sin and believe in the work of Christ on the cross. Those who refuse in this life to repent and believe have no later chance to be saved and thus condemn themselves to eternal damnation by their unbelief.
  • Security of the believer- There are strong grounds to hope that the truly regenerate will persevere unto the end, and be saved, through the power of divine grace which is pledged for their support, but their future obedience and final salvation are neither determined nor certain, since through infirmity and manifold temptations they are in danger of falling, and they ought, therefore, to watch and pray lest they make shipwreck of their faith and be lost. Reaching and making disciples of all ages and types of people in our area.
